Victorian VampiraI have dressed up as a vampire twice in the past using a female store-bought costume – choosing something close to what I thought a Volturi Vampire Costume for Women should be.

Probably one of the best tips I can give you here to start to have the best Volturi Vampire Costume for Women is that you need to keep in mind that these Volturi vampires are very old age-wise, and often dress to fit their age in time accordingly.

So if you are looking for the perfect wardrobe to be Jane, or any other female Volturi vampire in this case, you need to choose something both dark in color and “old-timey” looking. And Gothic looking vampire costumes are a good choice to start.

The costume I chose was a deep purple dress made of tulle and crushed velvet. The purple is a mottled dark and light purple and the crushed velvet is used as a trim and is black. The dress I chose was a fitted “mermaid” style with a deep, scooped neckline. The skirt’s cut is about five inches above the ankles with an uneven, frayed look.Vampire Vixen

Besides the dress, I also wore black, spiked, high heeled shoes . Shoes must match the color of the dress, and be sexy – high heels to add to the mysterious persona.

I sprayed my hair black. I also let my long hair down with no other styling products or accessories. Hair should be  simple, but if you wanted to, you could also wear a sexy updo, with lots of wisps and nothing outlandish to hold it. Bands and clips that match the hair will do fine.

The make-up I used was just a basic powder, black eyeliner, black eye shadow, and bright red lipstick. I also wore a really gothic-looking necklace. It was like a silver chain with multiple loops and had purple beads threaded through it. I wore earrings that matched. They were chandelier-shaped; again silver with tiny red beads hanging through them.

I did not use fangs that time simply because I could not find a style of vampire fangs that would be comfortable in my mouth or that looked good to me but there are many different kinds of fangs available if I had had more time to shop.

It was a very successful ensemble for the Halloween party that I went to, and I was asked a lot of questions regarding the red eyes and skin tone! My own individual  Volturi Vampire Costume for Women was definitely a hit and one that I hope to wear again this year – with a few revisions!

I have read the Twilight series but have not seen the movies yet, so I do not have a visual concept of what the Volturi actually looks like in the films, but only in my imagination. At the time that this Volturi Vampire Costume for Women above was worn, the Twilight series films hadn’t come out yet.

Looking back, if I would have done anything differently with my Volturi Vampire Costume for Women, I would have added a pair of fishnet stockings. Vamp Robe with Mesh SleevesI also would have done my hair more exotically, like I would have possibly put it into an elaborate, but messy updo or maybe have even chosen a great gothic wig to wear.

I also might have worn my knee-high fake leather boots if the weather was a little colder – and it might be this Halloween. But I’m pretty sure I’ll be adding a pair of long black gothic gloves too this Halloween season! And these are all ideas that I’ll definitely be taking into consideration this Halloween when I again wear my favorite Volturi Vampire Costume for Women. Fully satisfied with this look, I will venture out for a fun evening. Now if I could only get my date to pick me up in a horse-drawn carriage! Happy Halloween!
